Over the weekend, I went fabric shopping with Melissa. We headed over to Fabric Depot and Bolt. I ordered these Simplicity patterns last week and finally received them in the mail. The top pattern 2215 is a new Cynthia Rowley and includes a dress and sleeveless blouse. The other two patterns are from a new line called Lisette, designed by Liesl Gibson of the popular Oliver + S patterns. I got the Market dress, tunic, skirt, and blouse pattern and the Portfolio dress, tunic, and pants pattern. My score of fabric includes some grey linen for the Portfolio dress, some navy dotted fabric for the Cynthia Rowley dress, and some Michael Miller striped knit for a future undecided project. I decided to start the Cynthia Rowley dress first. I made a muslin this afternoon and once I make some adjustments around the armholes, I'll be ready to cut out fabric!
