Via Metafilter: Survivor 3?
I'll admit it—I loved the first season of Survivor. I was quite addicted to it. But this second season has really been less than satisfying (although in last night's episode one guy killed a wild pig). The first season was cool because there was a diverse group of individuals. However, this outback crew was definitely chosen with appearance in mind. Everyone is hunkier, shaplier, attractive, and tan. In other words, they all look good on TV. That sucks. At least the two African-Americans haven't been voted off yet.
