Sleeveless Turtleneck

I'm thinking about this sweater as my next project. It looks pretty simple from the directions. I have just enough yarn left over from the Twist sweater. My only problem is that I don't know if I would like a sleeveless turtleneck, which seems like such an oxymoron to me. But I like the design and look of this pattern. The body is knitted on #17 needles, but the neck is done on #35 needles.
