Knitting: Americano Vest

I worked on this project during my vacation last week. It's the Americano vest from the Berroco #302 Vintage and Vintage Chunky pattern book. It's the same book that includes the Vashon sweater I knit up a month ago. Once again, I used Cascade 128 Superwash as a substitute for the Vintage Chunky and it knit up just great. I made a couple of mods: I finished the button band edges in the same way as the neckline and armholes to prevent curling and used three-quarter inch buttons instead of one-inch buttons. For some reason, that top buttonhole didn't end up evenly spaced from the second buttonhole after I sewed on the neck edging, but I still think it looks okay. The buttons are covered with some Liberty fabric from my stash. This project was super quick and it gave me some instant gratification.
