Lovely Draped Neck Tank

This tank is from a Japanese pattern book called One-Piece & Bottoms. In the book, there is a cropped version and a tunic version. I made my version somewhere in between. I used a Dana Buchman plaid cotton silk I got from Bolt a while back (currently in sale bin). Instead of using the self fabric for the armhole binding, I used some double fold bias tape and also added it to the bottom hem. I love the loose fit and how the pattern on the front and back are different. The cotton silk was a dream to sew and it creates a lovely drape!

That is a super cute top! I adore that big plaid on the bias and the black accents are great. Nice work!
