Hot Pink Sweater

I was excited to start a fall knitting project last week. The pattern is Smoulder from Kim Hargreaves' latest book Whisper. It's a boxy sweater knit in an open fabric created by knitting with one size 13 needle and one size seven needle. The pattern called for Rowan Kidsilk Haze, but I opted to use the more economically priced Aloft from KnitPicks in Cosmopolitan. This is knitting up very quickly and I hope to have it ready to wear next week, which is perfect because it looks like the crisp fall days in Portland have arrived.
