Sewing: Festive Red Plaid Blouse

Here's a top I made over the weekend using another pattern from this unnamed Japanese pattern book. I got the Moda Preppy Plaid on sale at Fabric Depot. It's a flannel, but I used the wrong side for the self fabric. I really like the wide collar and the raglan style sleeves. There was the option of adding gathers to the front neckline, but I omitted them since the shape is already pretty voluminous. I think this blouse will look cute with some skinny jeans and boots.
