Sewing: Colorblocked Hazel Dress

This is the Hazel dress from Victory Patterns, a small independent pattern company out of Toronto. I had been eyeing this dress for a while and just recently bought the pattern. I picked up the olive green and fuschia linens at a Fabric Depot sale last weekend. I needed a break from my current knitting project and decided that I could probably finish this project this afternoon. The pattern is a PDF download, which means a lot of taping paper together before cutting out the pieces. I ended up making a size 6 based on the garment's finished measurements and how much ease I wanted and it ended up being a perfect fit. The directions were very clear and easy to follow. I love it!
