Sarouel Pants

I've been wanting to make a pair of sarouel pants (also known as drop-crotch or punjabi pants), so I went to the Bolt sale this weekend specifically looking for some linen. I ended up finding this nice lightweight linen denim that was marked down 50%! I ended up buying twice as much fabric since it was such a great deal and I could easily find something else to make out of it. The pattern for these pants is from my Fog Linen Work pattern book. They sewed up very quickly in about a couple of hours. Details include an elastic waist and side-seam pockets. As I've gotten older, my style has shifted toward a looser silhouette and shape. I love them, they're so comfortable!
