Weekend Sewing: Box Pleat Dress

I purchased a couple more patterns from The Assembly Line: the Box Pleat Dress and Almost Long Trousers. I opted for the digital patterns as there was a delay with mailed patterns. I started with the Box Pleat Dress and selected a lightweight stretch denim. The project was quick and I finished it yesterday after starting it on Saturday. Like the other patterns, the directions were extremely clear and easy to follow. The only modification I made was to alter the length by two inches. I wasn't sure about the shortening, but after trying the dress on, I think the original length would have been too overwhelming, especially with the A-line shape. Plus, I can wear it as a tunic with pants underneath. Love how it turned out!
