The Assembly Line: Almost Long Trousers

These are the Almost Long Trousers from The Assembly Line. Like all their other patterns, these directions were very clear and the garment was easy to sew. I finished these at the beginning of June but am just now getting around to posting about them. Black pants are hard to photograph, so I'm sure that was a factor for procrastination in blogging. These pants have a flat front elastic waist with deep front pockets and elastic ankle cuffs. I initially hemmed the bottoms without the elastic, but they flared out in a funny way, so I went back and added the cuffs. They have a slight drop crotch, but they are very comfy. I made the small which ended up being too big, so the next pair I make will be size extra-small.
