Kia Socks

I went to Shetland Wool Week this year and the Kia Socks by Dawn Henderson were the project I chose to bring along with me on my trip. I actually only brought the pattern and ended up buying some yarn in the Faroe Islands when I was there before I arrived in Shetland. They were a quick knit and the pattern was easy to memorize. I love them. You can see more Shetland photos on my Instagram feed. I should get some sock blockers!

Update: I just made my own sock blockers by tracing a sock on paper and cutting that out to use as a template. Then I traced the template on some cardboard, cut out the two socks, and taped the edges off so they were smooth. Perfect! And a much better way to display socks as you can see below.
