Nanaimo, Cotton Candy & Marshmallow

I finished this Nanaimo Cardigan in mid-November but am only getting around to posting about it now. I love how this cardigan turned out. It's super cozy and warm and I love this variegated yarn, called The Wool in colorway Marshmallow, which looks exactly like those pastel mints. I started this project in mid-October as the Cotton Candy sweater, a We Are Knitters knitting kit that includes this fantastic yarn and the pattern. Due to the ultra chunky yarn, I finished that first sweater in a couple of days. I loved the texture of the stitch pattern, but the sweater was just a bit too small even though I went up a full size. I didn't like the look of it on me either. So, after ripping it all out, I decided to search for another pattern. I had already knit two previous Goodnight, Day projects and knew one of those patterns would work. I decided on the Nanaimo cardigan and, luckily, it also only took a couple of days to knit up. This sweater is extremely warm, so I haven't worn it out yet, but am hoping to soon!
