The Thelma Jumpsuit from Merchant & Mills
This is The Thelma jumpsuit pattern from Merchant & Mills. I purchased the pattern sometime during late fall and only just finished it at the beginning of March. It took me a full month to get the pattern pieces cut out and then get the fabric cut because there are almost 30 pattern pieces! I cut out all the paper pieces one weekend, got the fabric washed and prepped the next weekend, and finally cut out the fabric pieces the following weekend. I think it turned out great. The only problem I had was setting in one of the sleeves, which somehow was just the tiniest bit bigger than the armhole. I left the pocket flaps off so there was less bulk. This style of jumpsuit is my favorite. After finishing it on Sunday, I wore it the very next day to work. Like all Merchant & Mills patterns, the directions were very clear and the project sewed together easily. This has probably been the most involved sewing project I've ever done, so I'm pretty proud of it.
