The Assembly Line: Lab Coat

I've had the Lab Coat pattern from The Assembly Line waiting for me for months. I bought the pattern right after lockdown started and I already had the perfect fabric: a velveteen that I scored at a sale of a local designer that went out of business. I love how the coat turned out, but the pictures aren't too great because velveteen is hard to photograph. The Assembly Line patterns come with very clear directions and often have some very cool details. This pattern is no different. There are four huge pockets: the two bottom ones actually have a stitch halfway across so they aren't as big as they look, but they do extend past the side seams. The only modifications I made were to skip the buttons and buttonholes altogether so it really is more like a lab coat. Can't wait to wear it!
