The Whittaker Pinafore Dress

This is The Whittaker pinafore dress that I finished a couple of weekends ago. It's a Merchant & Mills pattern, and that means it was extremely well-written and easy to follow. I made the dress in a UK 10, which is my standard size in their patterns but I could have probably gone down one size. I selected the view with a longer length and back slit and chose a cream-colored denim. I chose a funky tie-dye patterned cotton from my stash for the facings. There is a lot of topstitching and it looks very smart! I love how it turned out. Since the pattern was larger than I anticipated, I ended up moving the buttons further in on the side plackets to take up some ease. I took a lot of other photos, but these were the best of the bunch.
